PostNord follows the development of Swedish e-commerce in collaboration with HUI Research. The E-barometern is based on consumer surveys and one business survey. In this report e-commerce is defined as internet sales of goods delivered home, to a delivery service point or picked up in a store, a warehouse, or any point of delivery by the consumer. The report is published once a quarter and is available in Swedish. Some of the reports will be translated into English and published here.
The Annual report summarizes key events of 2023 and consumer behavior trends in deliveries, returns, omnichannel, and the growing second-hand market, featuring an interview with Tradera. It also highlights success factors for the pharmacy industry, the top-performing sector in 2023. Using e-retailer data, it reveals the e-commerce growth rate, total turnover for 2023, and the e-commerce share of total sales by industry. Additionally, it outlines important trends for 2024 and collaborates with Google Sweden to discuss trends and the transition away from third-party cookies. Lastly, it includes an interview with Clas Ohlsson.
