What is EMS International Express?
EMS International Express is a service for private individuals who want to send trackable express parcels weighing up to 20 kg to other countries. The parcels may contain documents or goods valued up to SEK 25,000 per shipment. The highest compensation payable is SDR 17 per kg (SDR = Special Drawing Rights; SDR 1 = approx. SEK 10).
Delivery outside the EU
Delivery times for EMS International Express shipments vary depending on the recipient country, typically within 2–6 business days.

Air transport directive
As from April 29, 2010, all shipments transported by air must be X-rayed in order to fulfil the air safety regulations pursuant to the applicable EU directive. In the event that the X-ray is unable to establish what the shipment contains, it will be transported by other means – road or rail, for example – instead. If this is not possible either, the shipment will be returned to you.
