When your company sends something, it is important to keep in mind that your recipients themselves want to be able to control the delivery. With our delivery options, your customers are offered flexible choices.
When the consignment you are sending is ready to be delivered, the recipient receives a notification via SMS, email or in the PostNord App. The recipient can then make delivery choices for the consignment, either on the web or in the app. If you instead choose to have a letter-based notification issued, the recipient will find information about where and when the parcel can be collected on the notification letter.
The following delivery options are available:
- Home delivery – the recipient can choose the day and time
- Home delivery – delivery even if nobody is at home
- Collect at PostNord
- Delivery to partner outlet
With FlexChange and in the PostNord app, your recipients can choose their preferred time and place of delivery and do not even have to be at home when parcels are delivered. When recipients enter their postcode, possible delivery times will be displayed and the recipients have the opportunity to choose the most suitable option.
Recipients can book home deliveries, select the delivery time and day, and amend the time of a home delivery that has already been booked. If the recipient is not home, it is also possible to have the delivery notification sent to someone else, such as a relative or neighbor.
If we cannot make a delivery, the recipient receives a notification letter stating where the delivery can be collected. Tracking of consignments is available at Track letters, parcels and pallets.
The recipient can collect the consignment from PostNord
Collect the consignment directly from one of PostNord’s service points. A map, the address, and the opening hours are displayed in the app and on the website that you access via the link in the notification. Information about our service points and their opening hours is available here.
Delivery to the recipient’s local partner outlet
The recipient can select to have a parcel delivered to their standard partner outlet and then pick it up from there when it suits them. Parcels weighing more than 20 kg cannot be delivered to partner outlets. This type of delivery option is filtered out as an alternative when your recipient makes their delivery choice in such cases.
