What rules apply within the EU?
When sending goods within the EU, you always need to include a safety declaration. Download Safety declaration within EU (PDF in Swedish).
What rules apply outside the EU?
When sending goods to destinations outside the EU, you must enclose special customs documents and customs EDI with your shipment. When you as a service agreement customer, print address labels via Skicka Direkt business the customs EDI will be created simultaneously and will be sent to the receiving customs. Handling in customs in the receiving country will then be faster. For faster and smother deliveries as a private customer can you easily create address labels, customs documentation and customs EDI via Skicka Direkt, where you also can print the documentations. See all the required information about customs clearance.
Useful to know about goods transported by air
Consignments transported by air have to be X-rayed to comply with air safety rules. If the X-ray does not provide any information about the contents of the consignment, it will be sent using a different mode of transport, such as rail or road. If that is not possible, the consignment is returned to the sender. This could result in delivery of the consignment being delayed.
