Age check is used where there is a further requirement to check that the recipient is the right age to receive the delivery: 16, 18 or 20 years old. Applies within Sweden. |
Before 9 |
Parcel is delivered to recipient before 09 AM on holiday-free Monday to Friday. The goods shall be labelled with a Before 9-label. This additional service can be added to a limited number of destinations. See delivery times. Applies within the Nordic region. |
Before 12 |
Parcel is delivered to recipient before 12 AM on holiday-free Monday to Friday. The goods shall be labelled with a Before 12-label. This additional service can be added to a limited number of destinations. See delivery times. Applies within the Nordic region. |
Climate Compensation |
PostNord invests the full compensation in renewable energy production in developing countries. Fossil energy production is replaced by renewable. This is done with the help of UN-certified CDM projects (Clean Development Mechanism) via the company 2050. |
Collect in Store |
The additional service enables the Customer to choose which of the Customer’s collection points the parcel should be held at for collection. Applies within Sweden. |
Collect in Store – Label only |
Can be used if the Customer only requires notification by email or text, followed by collection from the Customer's collection point. Applies within Sweden. |
Dangerous goods LQ |
You can send a certain limited quantity of dangerous goods. Information about dangerous goods can be obtained from MSB – Swedish Civil Contingencies. Check the relevant countries/postal codes (pdf in Swedish). |
Delivery Change |
You can change the recipient, the recipient's address, return to sender, retention period before delivery. Applies within Sweden. |
Delivery without POD |
The parcel is delivered without the recipient personally accepting and confirming receipt of the shipment. Applies within the Nordic region. |
DigitalLOCK |
The item may be delivered to a place secured by a digital lock without the recipient having received the item personally and signed for it. Applies within Sweden. |
Driver Notification |
Recipient receives a phone call from driver before delivery. Applies within the Nordic region. |
Early Collect |
The recipient can collect the parcel at the service point chosen by the sender early on the next business day. We have Sweden's biggest network of collection points and are always close to your recipient. The recipient is notified via text message when the parcel is available for collection. |
Extended retention time 14 days |
The period of retention time is extended to 14 days. Applies within Sweden. |
Fixed retention time 7 days |
The recipient will not be offered an extension of their period of retention to 14 days. Applies within Sweden. |
FlexChange |
PostNord notifies the recipient for an agreement on delivery choice, for example, alternative time interval, deliver the parcel even if I am not there or extend the retention time to 14 days. Some of these delivery options are available after payment by the recipient. More information about the recipient’s delivery options. Applies within Sweden. |
ID Check |
The parcel is only handed out to the person who receives the goods against receipt confirmation and presentation of valid ID within Sweden and to Norway. In Sweden delivery can, however, take place after presentation of a valid delivery code. This code is obtained through the recipient confirming their identity via Mobilt BankID in PostNord's App. |
Insurance |
Claims can be made if the contents are damaged or if all or part of the contents have been lost. The compensation is based on the value of the goods. |
New delivery
|
The sender or recipient can subsequently request a new delivery attempt to the recipient’s delivery address. Applies within Sweden. Orders can be submitted to Portal Business or via customer service at 0771-33 33 10. |
Notification before delivery
|
The recipient is notified via text message, email or PostNord App by the driver prior to delivery. Applies within Sweden. |
Recipient freight
|
When your recipient is to pay for the shipping This requires that both the recipient and the sender are credit customers. Applies within Sweden. |
Return to sender
|
Parcels that cannot be delivered to the recipient are returned directly back to the sender. Applies within the Nordic region (not to Finland). |
Signature assurance
|
Signature assurance means the recipient cannot choose delivery without POD as a delivery option. Applies in Denmark. |
Two delivery attempts |
An additional delivery attempt is made the next business day if the parcel could not be handed over. Applies within Sweden. |
