MyPack Home is a flexible service for you who want to offer your customers home delivery.

A flexible service for home delivery where we collect the package from you and deliver directly to the recipient's home.

The recipient can choose when and how the delivery should take place and can track the package all the way.

Our additional services create the opportunity to tailor to your and your customers' needs.

You can reach recipients throughout Sweden, the Nordic countries and Europe.

Regardless of whether you run an e-commerce operation or just want to easily send parcels, this is the service for you. We collect the parcel from you and deliver directly to the recipient’s home. Both you and your recipient can, of course, track the parcel the whole way.

Delivery options

For MyPack Home that are sent within/to Sweden a pre-defined delivery window is presented. The recipient does not have to be home at the time of the delivery since the parcel will be placed outside the door, this is done to achieve a as quick and smooth delivery as possible. Information regarding the delivery is obtained through notifications via sms, e-mail or PostNord App. Date and time of delivery is proposed as well as options to tailor the delivery according to the needs of the recipient. The recipient will be able to choose another date or time than the proposed one, the recipient can choose to have a personal delivery at the door or choose to pick up the parcel themselves from one of PostNords many service points/ partner outlets. As a PostNord sending customer you will of course also have the possibility to choose a personal delivery, including signature, to your recipient. Something that is particularly good when sending high value goods for instance.

If the recipient chooses home delivery, they can decide:

  • change the date and time of delivery
  • get a delivery personal delivery i.e a delivery with receipt

Once the selection has been made, a confirmation of the selected delivery option is sent to the recipient by sms or email. The recipient can also easily amend the time for the booked delivery directly in the PostNord App or website.

Within Sweden, PostNord also notify the recipient, when their parcel is on its way and when it has been delivered. The recipient can also follow the delivery on its way through live-tracking where they also get an ETA as well as a countdown of number of stops left before their delivery.

For MyPack Home outside of Sweden a pre-defined delivery window is also often presented, however the recipient needs to be at home and sign for the delivery as a standard. In most countries there are however possibilities to change the proposed date, to choose a delivery without signature or to have the parcel delivered to a service point/parcel locker instead. Notifications and track and trace abilities are available in all countries.

MyPack Home parcels can be sent to:

Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary*, Greece*, Romania* and Bulgaria.

Delivery time

Across the whole of Sweden, PostNord delivers home parcels to the recipient’s door Monday to Friday during the day, the recipient can receive their home delivery at the earliest next business day. In addition to the daytime delivery, an evening time delivery is offered for parcels delivered to all the bigger cities in Sweden and within a several locations we offer a Saturday service as well. Within our home delivery service, we offer convenience and flexibility. Should the recipient want a different date or time of the delivery, well that is a very easy change to make. Or does the recipient perhaps want to pick up the parcel from one of our service points instead, then that is also an option. All changes are at the recipient’s fingertips through the digital service found in the PostNord App or on the webb.

It is also though the App or webb ( where the recipient can follow the parcel on its way. Real-time tracking, number of stops before the delivery as well as an ETA of the delivery is available here too.

In the event that the parcel weighs more than 20 kg, delivery (in Sweden) the delivery then only takes place to the recipient’s door if the delivery can be performed by one driver using equipment with wheels to assist the delivery. If the parcel cannot be delivered to the recipient´s door in this way, the recipient will be contacted and delivery will be made to the curb side/ground floor.

If the parcel cannot be delivered due to, for example, the driver not being able to enter a gate or similar, or there are requirements for a signed confirmation upon the delivery and the recipient is not at home, the recipient will be notified how to obtain the parcel.

Booking and printing out shipping documents

Skicka Direkt Business can be used to book pick-ups, print shipping documents and create electronic advance notifications. Reports for checking and follow-up can also be generated.

Delivery Change

Do you need to make a change to an item of mail after it has been handed in but before it is handed over to the recipient? You can make changes in PostNord Portal, if you printed out the shipping document there. You can, for example, change the recipient or recipient address, return the parcel to the sender, or request a longer period of retention (of up to 30 days).

Additional services

Age check

Age check is used where there is a further requirement to check that the recipient is the right age to receive the delivery: 16, 18 or 20 years old. Applies within Sweden

Climate Compensation

PostNord invests the full compensation in renewable energy production in developing countries. Fossil energy production is replaced by renewable. This is done with the help of UN-certified CDM projects (Clean Development Mechanism) via the company 2050.

Dangerous goods LQ

In certain cases, you can send limited quantities of dangerous goods. More information about what is classed as dangerous goods. You can also check MSB – the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. See current countries / postcodes (pdf)

Delivery without POD

Should you choose to use the Additional service Delivery without POD, the recipient will receive the parcel without the possibility to make any changes. A date and time for the delivery will be communicated to the recipient, but no other choices will be available. (Vaild within Sweden only).

Enhanced identification

Is used in the event of an extra need to check that the recipient personally receives the goods. The goods are only handed over if the recipient’s personal ID number matches the personal ID number on the ID. Applies within Sweden.

Extended retention time 14 days

The period of retention time is extended to 14 days. Applies within Sweden.

Fixed retention time 7 days

The recipient will not be offered an extension of their period of retention to 14 days. Applies within Sweden.

ID Check

The parcel is only handed out to the person who receives the goods against receipt confirmation and presentation of valid ID. In Sweden delivery can, however, take place after presentation of a valid delivery code. This code is obtained through the recipient confirming their identity via Mobilt BankID in PostNord’s app. Applies within Sweden.


Take out a supplementary goods insurance policy if you want to provide further protection against unforeseen events. Covers theft, accident, damage and loss. The insurance also covers the consequences of natural disasters such as storms, thunder and earthquakes.

New delivery

The sender or recipient can subsequently request a new delivery attempt to the recipient’s delivery address. Applies within Sweden. Orders can be submitted to Portal Business or via customer service at 0771-33 33 10.

Return to sender

Parcels that cannot be delivered to the recipient are returned directly back to the sender. Applies within the Sweden and to Denmark.


The SameDay means that delivery is made to the recipient's door or selected parcel locker on working days between 5 pm and 10 pm on the same day as pickup occurred. SameDay can be sent from and to recipients in the areas in Sweden defined in the Pickup and delivery areas fact sheet.

Signature Assurance

The parcel is only handed out against proof of delivery, i.e. the recipient must sign for the parcel upon delivery, the parcel cannot be left outside the door.
