Domestic letter shipment

Ensure fast delivery when you as a company need to send a lot of letters within Sweden

Do you need to send a lot of letters domestically? Then you can book a domestic letter shipment before handing in the letters. Choose first class mail for the fastest delivery or economy class to ensure the lowest postage costs.

In a mail shipment, you send at least 500 unsorted letters or 5,000 sorted letters. All the letters must originate from the same sender and have the same format and weight (max. differential 30 grams). If you sort your letters in postal code order you pay even less postage.

When do you need to book letter shipment?

Book letter shipment First class domestic

First class domestic shipment needs to be booked by 9 am on the day of submission.

• Sorted shipments with at least 25,000 pieces of mail.
• Unsorted shipments with at least 10,000 pieces of mail.
• Unsorted shipments containing at least 5,000 pieces of mail with a thickness of more than 2 cm.

Value Letter (Varubrev) and First class

• Shipment with at least 2,000 items

Economy letter and Addressed direct mail (ADM)

If you are about to send Economy letter or Addressed direct mail (ADM), the shipment needs to to be booked no later than by 5 pm on the day before hand-in.

• Unsorted shipments with at least 20,000 pieces of mail.
• Unsorted shipments containing at least 5,000 pieces of mail with a thickness of more than 2 cm.

Value letter economy class

Shipment with at least 2,000 items.

Delivery time for various domestic letters

If you send a shipment as first class mail, the letters will normally be distributed on the first or on the second business day after they are handed in. Economy class letters and Addressed direct mail (ADM) normally reach the recipient within three business days of being handed in.
