Our letter service is intended for private customers who want to send messages and light items weighing up to 2 kg to recipients in Sweden or anywhere in the world. You can buy stamps from our online store or at one of our service points. You can also buy digital stamps online – simple and versatile. Post your letters in any of our mailboxes or drop them off at one of our service points.
Delivery inside and outside the EU
Stamped letters are normally delivered within 1–2 business days in Sweden, and within 2–5 days to European capitals. Click here to see delivery times for the different countries.
When sending goods within the EU, you must always attach a security declaration (pdf in Swedish). If you buy postage in Skicka Direkt, the system creates the customs documentation and EDI, which are sent to the customs authorities in the receiving country. It is important to write the name and address of the sender on the letter, otherwise we cannot send the letter to the receiving country.

Air transport directive
As from April 29, 2010, all shipments transported by air must be X-rayed in order to fulfil the air safety regulations pursuant to the applicable EU directive. In the event that the X-ray is unable to establish what the shipment contains, it will be transported by other means – road or rail, for example – instead. If this is not possible either, the shipment will be returned to you.
How do I use this service?
You can buy stamps, envelopes and postage-paid packaging from our online store or at any of our service points. You can then mail your letters in any of our mailboxes or drop them off at one of our service points.
You can use all kinds of stamps when sending letters to international recipients. Affix a “Prioritaire” label (available at our service points) to the letter or write “PRIORITAIRE” to the left of the stamp. You can buy stamps from our online store or at any of our service points. Does your letter contain goods, and are you sending it to an address outside the EU? If so, you will need to affix a corresponding bar code containing the shipment ID to the letter. International letters with a shipment ID are not trackable. For this, you need to choose our International tracked letter service.
