Do you need to send letters that are guaranteed to arrive quickly? In that case you can use our Express Mail Domestic service, which is both straightforward and safe. These letters are delivered by 10 am on the first business day after being posted, with the exception of certain geographical directions and postal codes.*
The letter is delivered straight to the recipient's letterbox and you can easily track its progress, and thus find out where it is and when it has been delivered. If you post the letter on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the next business day is considered to be the day of posting.
How to send Express Mail Domestic
- Write the recipient's name, address, phone number and possible door entry code on the letter. You can also print out the shipping documents via Send Direct, your own transport administration system (TA-system) or Pacsoft Online.
- Paying for the postage You can pay the postage when handing in the letter at our service points, directly in Send Direct, with a franking machine or via invoice. See the postage costs here.
- If the shipping documents have been purchased via Send Direct, the postage is already paid.
- If you have created shipping documents in your own TA system or via Pacsoft Online, the express letter can be handed in at a business service center or partner outlet, or to a rural mail carrier.
Letters are delivered by 10 am on business days. If a letter cannot be delivered, we make a second delivery attempt before 6 pm.* The delivery time is longer to some areas, such as on rural mail routes**. Keep the receipt, as it acts as your guarantee.
