What is Parcel Post International?
Our Parcel Post International service is designed to allow private individuals to send parcels weighing up to 20 kg to recipients anywhere in the world. The parcels are trackable, depending on the recipient country. You can order the Parcel Post service and pay the shipping via the Skicka Direkt tool, or at any of our service points. Choose Skicka Direkt to benefit from a lower price.
Delivery
Delivery times vary, depending on the destination of the parcel. Within Europe, parcels are usually delivered 2 days after being handed in. Delivery to the door is also included in certain countries. Calculate the delivery time here. If the recipient does not collect the parcel, it is returned to you – the sender – and you will be charged a fixed fee for the return processing.
How do I use this service?
- Go to the Skicka Direkt online tool.
- Choose the destination country and select the type of parcel you wish to send.
- Enter the weight, the information required for the sender and recipient and the customs declaration, if relevant.
- After completing payment (Swish, card or Google Pay), you can choose whether you want to print the shipping note yourself or prefer to present a QR code at a service point and have the shipping note printed there.
- Drop off the shipment at any of our service points.
- To send parcels to recipients outside the EU, you need to complete special customs documents. The information you need to take with you to the service point is listed below.
- Take the parcel to your local service point, where the staff can help you fill in your shipping note.
- Make sure you have the recipient’s address and cell phone number for SMS notification with you.

You can download the relevant document here on our website, or collect it from any of our service points. If you pay for shipping via Skicka Direkt, you can fill in the customs labels directly in the online tool.
