What is Parcel Post International?
Our Parcel Post International service is designed to allow private individuals to send parcels weighing up to 20 kg to recipients anywhere in the world. The parcels are trackable, depending on the recipient country. You can order the Parcel Post service and pay the shipping via the Skicka Direkt tool, or at any of our service points. Choose Skicka Direkt to benefit from a lower price.
Delivery
Delivery times vary, depending on the destination of the parcel. Within Europe, parcels are usually delivered 2 days after being handed in. Delivery to the door is also included in certain countries. Calculate the delivery time here. If the recipient does not collect the parcel, it is returned to you – the sender – and you will be charged a fixed fee for the return processing.
How do I use this service?

- Buy at postnord.se.
- Choose the destination country and select the type of parcel you wish to send.
- Enter the weight, the information required for the sender and recipient and the customs declaration, if relevant.
- After completing payment (Swish, card or Google Pay), you can choose whether you want to print the shipping note yourself or prefer to present a QR code at a service point and have the shipping note printed there.
- Drop off the shipment at any of our service points.
Send via a service point
- Prepare your parcel and bring it to your service point. They will assist you in creating a shipping label and any necessary customs documentation. Ensure you have the recipient’s address and cell phone number for SMS notifications with you.
- Take the parcel to your local service point, where the staff can help you fill in your shipping note.

Customs documentation outside the EU
To send parcels to countries outside the EU, you – as the sender – are subject to different requirements, depending on whether you are sending gifts or products for sale. See what information you need to provide when sending parcels to other countries.
If you purchase shipping online, you also create the customs documentation in the shipping tool. If you purchase shipping at a service point, they will help you create the customs documentation.
