Receive your delivery
When your consignment is ready to be delivered, you receive a notification via SMS, email or in the PostNord App. After that, you can make delivery choices for your parcel either on the website or in the app. If instead you receive a notification letter, it will include all the necessary information about where to collect the parcel. The notification also states the address change.postnord.com, where you can make delivery choices for your parcel.
- Home delivery – select date and time.
- Home delivery – even if you are not at home.
- Choose to collect from PostNord.
- Delivery to partner outlet.
- Move your parcel between partner outlets.
To increase the flexibility of the delivery, you are given the opportunity to choose between three different delivery dates and times.
Home delivery even if you are not at home
When you book the date and time, you can also choose to have the delivery made even if nobody is at home to receive it. Your parcel will be delivered to your door but if you live in a detached house/townhouse you can also choose another place around the property for delivery of the parcel. Once we have made the delivery, you are notified via email or text message. (It is also possible to change the phone number for the notification, so that a neighbor or someone else can be informed that the delivery was made.) Once the consignment has been delivered, any right to claim compensation for your parcel expires.
In certain situations, this choice will not be available. This may be because the sender has chosen not to make the choice available or because of the content of the consignment.
Collect from PostNord
Collect the consignment yourself from PostNord. A map, the address, and the opening hours are displayed in the app and on the website that you access via the link in the notification.
Delivery to your partner outlet
Parcels weighing up to 20 kg can be delivered to your local partner outlet and you can choose to pick them up from there when it suits you. Heavy parcels are delivered to your home or to one of PostNord’s distribution points; the choice is yours.
Move your parcel between partner outlets
Parcels that have arrived at an partner outlet can be moved to any other partner outlet in Sweden at a cost. You will be notified when the delivery choice is possible and you make your payment via Swish.
Home deliveries – notification, delivery choices and delivery
How and when you receive notifications about your consignments depends on the sender’s chosen service and which recipient choice you have made.
Notification and delivery choices
When your consignment is ready to be delivered, you receive a notification via SMS, email or in the PostNord App. After that, you can make delivery choices for your parcel either on the website or in the app. If instead you receive a notification letter, it will include information about where to collect the parcel. The notification also states the address change.postnord.com, where you can make delivery choices for your parcel.
In normal cases, the person receiving the delivery signs for it, unless the sender or recipient have requested delivery without signature. If the delivery contains alcohol, the person receiving the delivery must be able to show identification and prove that they are over 20 years old.
Not home when delivery made
If we are unable to deliver, you will receive notification of where you can collect the consignment. You can always follow your consignment using the Track letters, parcels and pallets service.
You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions.
Important things to remember when receiving a delivery:
- The sender sometimes requests that proof of identification is shown
- Delivery is usually made to the door
- Deliveries can also be made to a different specified place if you live in a detached house/townhouse
- Check that deliveries are not damaged before signing for receipt of them
- If you are scheduled to receive your parcel in person, please be there during the specific delivery window
