Varubrev will change its name to PostNord Home Small
On the 4th of May, 2026, Varubrev will be renamed PostNord Home Small. You'll get the same reliable deliveries as before, with two delivery options. At the same time, the weight limit of a parcel will be raised to 3 kilos.
What is PostNord Home Small (Varubrev)?
PostNord Home Small (formerly Varubrev) is a service for companies that want to send trackable parcels weighing up to 3 kg to addresses in Sweden. We deliver directly to the recipient’s mailbox.*
A photograph will be taken of items delivered this way as confirmation for both the sender and receiver. Using the PostNord App, the recipient can track the delivery from pick-up to distribution in Sweden.
PostNord Home Small comes with two delivery options. Home Small and Home Small Prio.
PostNord Home Small (Previously Varubrev Ekonomi)
The standard PostNord Home Small offers Nordic Swan Ecolabelled delivery at an affordable price, directly to the recipient’s mailbox. The shipment is delivered within 4 days in Sweden*.
PostNord Home Small Prio (Previously Varubrev 1:a klass)
PostNord Home Small Prio (previously known as Varubrev 1:a klass) is our service for fast deliveries, directly to the recipient’s mailbox. The shipment is delivered the next business day in Sweden (2 days in some areas)*.
*If the parcel is too large, it will be placed outside the door or hung in a bag on the mailbox. The delivery is Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and trackable in the PostNord app.
Send via Skicka Direkt Business
You use our Business portal, to generate electronic advance notifications, create shipping labels, print shipping documents, and book collection for PostNord Home Small and PostNord Home Small Prio. In addition, you can download reports for checking and follow-up. You can also use your own transport administration system (TA system) approved by PostNord.
If you are sending Home Small with a longer delivery time, mark the parcel with a B and log for climate compensation.
For daily pick-up of PostNord Home Small shipments, you can sign up for the Pick-Up service via our Business Portal.
Additional services
Print Label
If you are using PostNord Return, you can also select “Print Label”. Your customer will then receive a QR code instead of a hard-copy return shipping note. The customer then presents the QR code at the service point when dropping off the return, and will be issued with the relevant shipping note.
Special Handling
You can send shipments longer than 340 mm, broader than 240 mm, or taller than 70 mm on payment of a supplementary charge.
Mailbox Only
The shipment is delivered directly to your customer’s mailbox. If it doesn’t fit, the customer will receive a notification to collect it from a service point within 7 days.
