Shorter retention time in PostNord's parcel lockers

We want to create a more efficient flow to enable faster and smoother deliveries. Therefore, we will soon shorten the retention time in our parcel lockers across the Nordic region.
 
Today, a parcel remains in a parcel locker for seven days. We are now working towards a standard retention time of three days, so that more compartments become available — and the recipient can pick up their parcel from a parcel locker conveniently located near their home.
 
We are currently testing a three-day retention time in several parcel lockers in the Stockholm region ahead of a planned rollout in October 2026. The change is planned to be introduced on 5 October in Denmark and 14 October in Norway. In Finland, the plan is to introduce a shorter retention time during 2027.
 
If the recipient needs more time to collect their parcel, the retention time can be extended to a total of up to seven days in the PostNord App.
