Delivery options

When your company sends something, it is important to keep in mind that your recipients themselves want to be able to control the delivery. With our delivery options, your customers are offered flexible choices.

Offer a variety of delivery options

When the consignment you are sending is ready to be delivered, the recipient receives a notification via SMS, email or in the PostNord App. The recipient can then make delivery choices for the consignment, either on the web or in the app. If you instead choose to have a letter-based notification issued, the recipient will find information about where and when the parcel can be collected on the notification letter. 

The following delivery options are available:

  • Home delivery – the recipient can choose the day and time
  • Home delivery – delivery even if nobody is at home
  • Collect at PostNord
  • Delivery to partner outlet

Your customers want information about how, when and where their delivery will take place. Clearly state which alternatives they have with regard to deliveries, by using our standard texts in your checkout.

Home delivery

Med FlexChange och i App PostNord kan din mottagare välja tid och plats och behöver inte ens vara hemma för att få paketet levererat. När mottagaren skriver in sitt postnummer kommer möjliga leveranstider att visas och får då möjlighet att välja den som passar bäst.

Mottagaren kan boka hemleverans, välja dag och tid samt uppdatera tiden för en redan bokad hemleverans. Om mottagaren inte är hemma finns valet att aviseringen går till någon annan, t ex en släkting eller en granne.

Kan vi inte leverera får mottagaren en avisering om var det går att hämta. Följ försändelsen med Spåra brev, paket och pall.

Collecting the consignment from PostNord

Collect the consignment directly from one of PostNord’s service points. A map, the address, and the opening hours are displayed in the app and on the website that you access via the link in the notification. Information about our service points and their opening hours is available here.

Delivery to a local partner outlet

The recipient can select to have a parcel delivered to their standard partner outlet and then pick it up from there when it suits them. Parcels weighing more than 20 kg cannot be delivered to partner outlets. This type of delivery option is filtered out as an alternative when your recipient makes their delivery choice in such cases.
