Optimize your checkout for international deliveries
PostNord is partnered with the global logistics operator GeoPost (formerly known as DPDGroup) for deliveries outside the Nordic region. In other words, final delivery to the recipient is made by a local carrier.
This means that checkouts aimed at international customers need to display the name and logo of the local carrier (usually DPD).
Links to parcel tracking should also be adjusted to lead to the respective country's tracking service.
You’ll find a full list of local carriers on GeoPost’s webpage.
Tracking
Recipients outside the Nordic region usually want to use local parcel tracking services, not PostNord's.
Here are some examples of how URLs to parcel tracking look for recipients in:
- Germany: https://tracking.dpd.de/status/de_DE/parcel/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Poland: https://tracktrace.dpd.com.pl/parcelDetails?p1=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- The Netherlands: https://www.dpdgroup.com/nl/mydpd/my-parcels/incoming?parcelNumber=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Great Britain: https://track.dpd.co.uk/parcels/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx*verification-vcode
- France: https://www.chronopost.fr/tracking-no-cms/suivi-page?listeNumerosLT=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
More details about local tracking URLs can be found on GeoPost’s webpage.
Download logos
When you send packages with PostNord Home and MyPack Collect to customers outside the Nordic countries, the logo and name of the carrier in the recipient's country should be displayed in the checkout.
